Our Mission:

We are locally owned and operated retail garden center and consulting service in Louisville, Kentucky. Our mission, since 1998, has been to provide our customers with the highest quality plants available and share our knowledge and experience as Horticulturists and plant lovers, so that our customers can make informed decisions when purchasing new plants and caring for existing ones.
Our Inventory:
From the tiniest cactus to the tallest Oak tree, from the toughest native plants to the rare exotics, you’ll find the perfect plant from our exceptional variety of trees, shrubs, perennials, vines, grasses, groundcovers, houseplants, annual flowers, vegetable crops, herbs, bonsai, and more including our curated selection of seeds, bulbs, pots, soils, mulches, tools, statuary, fountains, fertilizers, disease and pest control, and other hard goods.
We also sell seasonal items like pumpkins, Christmas trees, fresh wreaths, and more.

In 2024 we moved from our home in St. Matthews of 26 years, to an amazing new location at the corner of Baxter Avenue and E Market Street. This property began as a family business over 40 years ago and we are honored to continue the family business legacy here.
Our new location is an upgrade for sure. Along with our expansive outdoor shopping area for all of our trees, shrubs, annuals, perennials, edible crops and more you will notice a much larger indoor shopping area that houses all of our houseplants and gardening supplies, including a dedicated discount area for all you bargain hunters. All of our mulches and soils are also completely covered and did we mention that we have a HUGE parking lot?!?
April 1st, 2025 is our first anniversary in Nulu and we want to thank everyone who helped make our move a success and invite our community to grow with us here for many years to come. We’re open year-round so visit our home page for this season’s hours.
