Inventory Questions

Last fall we launched our new online store (see link below). All of the items available on our online store are also available to purchase in-store, but not all items available in-store are available to purchase online.

Our online store consists of our entire current inventory of houseplants, seeds, bulbs, pots, soils, mulches, tools, statuary, fountains, fertilizers, disease and pest control, and other hardgoods. We also have select vegetable and herb plants available to purchase online. For our complete inventory of vegetables, herbs, and other edible plants please visit us in-store.

Along with the inventory you see online, you will also find annuals, trees, shrubs, perennials, vines, grasses, and more when you shop in-store. We’re open year round; therefore, inventory is always changing, so check back frequently to see what new and unique items each season brings. Most emails regarding inventory questions are returned within 24 hours.

Shopping Options

1. Order Online for Curbside Pickup

ONCE YOU PLACE YOUR ORDER ONLINE you will receive a confirmation email with an estimated time to pick up your order. This is an estimation only. You will receive an email and/or text message once your order is ready for pickup (tip: check your promotions or spam folder for this email). Orders placed prior to 2pm Monday - Friday are generally ready to pick up the same day. Orders placed on Saturday, Sundays, or after 2pm on weekdays are generally available the following day, but please wait to receive your “ready for pickup” message before coming by. Pickup is only available during our in-store shopping hours.

WHEN YOU ARRIVE TO PICK UP YOUR ORDER please call 502-893-1745. We will need to know the last name on the order as well as what vehicle you are in. At this time you can also let the team member know if you would like us to put your items in your car for you or if you prefer no-contact pickup.

You have 2 days from the day you place your order to pick it up. After that, the order will be canceled and your payment refunded. If you are unable to pick up your order within 2 days, send an email to shop@plantkingdom.net and we can discuss further options.


2. In-Store Shopping

If you wish to shop in person with us we will welcome you with open, yet socially distant arms, but do require that you follow all guidelines…

MASKS & SOCIAL DISTANCING - Masks are recommended for all customers at high risk or not fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Unmasked customers are required to maintain an appropriate distance between themselves and team members or fellow customers not in their group. Plexiglass separators will also remain at the registers for added protection in this area where social distancing is challenging. Please respect our cashiers and remain behind the plexiglass when in this area. Customers should also respect the choice of team members and fellow customers who choose to wear a mask, even if vaccinated. There will be a zero tolerance policy for customers harassing team members or other customers about wearing a mask.

WAIT PATIENTLY - During peak shopping times please be prepared to wait in a line at checkout or for team member assistance. If you have questions about plant recommendations, identification, diagnosis, design, or other complex topics we ask that you send these via email to gardeninfo@plantkingdom.net and wait for our reply rather than stopping by in-person. This allows us to ensure that the expert on that topic will be assisting you.

FOLLOW DIRECTIONAL SIGNAGE - We have opened our entrance backup to allow customers to enter and exit at their leisure, but our cash register area will remain one-way to facilitate an organized line and traffic flow during busy times. Children must remain with their guardian at all times.

BE RESPECTFUL & KIND - Our team is still working hard to keep our environment safe and clean, so please be respectful of team members and fellow customers while you shop.
